On a rainy day, the day after the election, I stopped by the Guggenheim to see the Agnes Martin retrospective. These paintings were the result.
This series is included in the exhibition: Sympathetic Vibration: Selected works by Rachelle Beaudoin, Janet Hullings Bleicken, Sally Bomer, Brian D. Cohen, Glen Scheffer and Craig Stockwell on view at the Thorne-Sagendorph Gallery at Keene State College through March 26, 2017. The show features new and recent painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and performance by six area artists whose works, in a variety of ways, connect local and global issues and images.
